Welcome From The Headteacher

Main Content

On behalf of all the children, parents and Governors at Bishop Perrin Church of England Primary School, I would like to thank you for visiting our website. We are a small and friendly one form entry school with good relationships, a strong sense of belonging and Christian values at the heart of our ethos. We cater for children from 4 to 11 years old and we sit within the Parish of St Augustine’s of Canterbury, Whitton, serving the families of our local community.

Our rich and varied curriculum and high expectations of children ensure that everyone is able to be the best they can. Our vision statement highlights our commitment to providing all our children with the opportunity and encouragement to excel and achieve successfully in a stimulating and safe environment. We strive to deliver a curriculum that will inspire and challenge our children and hope that the website will provide you with a taste of some of our many highlights. You can find out more about the curriculum in the ‘Learning’ section of the website.

The excellent relationships and team work between different members of the school community, whilst keeping children’s learning central to everything that we do, is what we feel makes our school special. We are very proud of our outstanding Ofsted grade (May 2012) and we strive to ensure we set the highest standards, both pastorally and academically, as possible.

Our Governors are committed to ensuring the best possible educational environment for our children and they work closely with staff to make and monitor long term plans to ensure that the school continues to go from strength to strength.

We have an active School Association which organises fundraising and social events for children, parents, families and the local community.

We have tried to include most of the information you may need but if you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact the school office and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
