School Performance Data

After the easing of Covid restrictions during the 2021-22 academic year, schools were required to resume statutory assessments after a two year pause. By clicking on the link below, you will be able to see how pupils at Bishop Perrin School in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 6 performed in their statutory assessments, alongside published national results. We are very proud of how the children performed, despite the impact of Covid restrictions on their education during this period of time.

During the 2019-20 academic year, due to the Covid restrictions in place at the time, no assessments were carried, which is why we do not have any published results for this year.

For the 2020-21 academic school year, the Government informed schools that they were not required to submit results for statutory assessments and tests. However, as a school, we carried out our own in-school end-of-year assessments and tests with the children, using previously published nationally accredited frameworks and test materials.

Our Governors are actively involved in monitoring the school’s performance with regards to attainment and progress over the course of each academic year. This involves convening three “Data Impact Group” meetings over the course of the academic year, with our Diocesan Advisor also involved with the meetings. During the meetings, the Governors approve the school’s end-of-year assessment targets and assess the progress the children make towards the targets after each assessment point during the academic year.
